Lewis J. Patterson Award in Mining
Founded by Lewis J. Patterson, retired President of Quebec Cartier Mining Company, who taught management within the Mining Engineering Department for 10 years. Awarded, on the recommendation of the Head of the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining, to a student graduating in Mining Engineering who has obtained the highest combined standing in fourth year mine management courses.
