Bursaries totalling $1,650 have been made available through an endowment established for students with disabilities in recognition of Paul Thiele’s 32 years of service to The University of British Columbia. Paul Thiele, along with his late wife Judith, was instrumental in the establishment of the Crane Library and Resource Centre, expanding it from a collection of Braille books to an internationally recognized library and support service for persons requiring print alternatives.
