Global Health Elective Award
Established in March 2007 and revised in January 2019 by the Aesculapian Society and the Faculty of Health Sciences. Awarded to medical students in any year who are participating in an experiential learning opportunity outside of Canada or an opportunity that embodies the intent of this award within remote areas of Canada. Preference will be given to students registered in the Global Health Certificate program. Applications will be evaluated on the degree to which the proposed experiential learning opportunity will enhance and broaden the student’s global health competencies, medical knowledge
