Rick HANSEN Special Needs Bursary
In recognition of Rick Hansen’s outstanding accomplishments, one or more bursaries totalling $2,100 are offered for students who have special needs brought about by some physical disability. Funds for these awards were raised at the celebrity concert and auction held at UBC in March, 1987, and matched by the Alma Mater Society. The award is made on the nomination of the Committee on Awards for Students with Disabilities.
