Istvan Award in Electroacoustics
Established in honour of Istvan Anhalt, Mus.D. (honoris causa, McGill), Professor Emeritus of Music, distinguished composer and teacher, and Head of the School of Music (1971-81). Awarded annually on the recommendation of the DAN School of Drama and Music to a student who has demonstrated excellence in electroacoustics (composition, research, performance, production). Preference will be given to a graduating student.
