John and Elizabeth Murray Award
Established in May 2002 and revised in February 2018 by John Murray, B.Sc. 1963, Ph.D. 1967, and his wife, Elizabeth Murray. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to upper year students enrolled in a degree program in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Preference will be given to students in a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree program. If granted to a student in second year, the award is renewable for 2 subsequent years provided a satisfactory academic average is maintained each year in a full course load and financial need remains evident.
