Established in May 2018 by the Estate of Mary Marlene Joan de Pencier in memory of her brother Douglas Arthur de Pencier. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students entering first year of any first entry undergraduate degree program whose residence during the two years preceding the award was within the limits of the Geographic Townships of Oxford-on-Rideau and Wolford in the County of Grenville, the Township of Montague in the County of Lanark and the Township of Marlborough in the County of Carleton.
