CFUW Kingston Club A. Vibert Douglas Award

Established in July 2011 by the Canadian Federation of University Women Kingston Club in memory of two women: A. Vibert Douglas, first Canadian woman to be President of the International Federation of University Women, one of Canada's pioneer astrophysicists, and the Dean of Women at Queen's from 1939 to 1959; Caroline Mitchell, B.A. 1926, a long-time member and diligent fund-raiser for the Kingston Club. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to students in any year in a Bachelor of Science program in the Faculty of Arts and Science. First preference will
