Kenneth J. Southern Bursary
Established by Norman J. Southern, B.Sc'39 (Mining Engineering), in memory of his brother Kenneth J. Southern, B.Sc'34 (Mechanical Engineering). Awarded on the basis of financial need to a student entering Smith Engineering. Preference will be given to a student from Thunder Bay, Ontario. The bursary is renewable for 3 more years, provided that a minimum GPA of 2.0 (C) is maintained and that financial need remains evident.
