David G. Vice Entrance Award
Established in January 2010 by David G. Vice, B.Sc. 1955, D.Sc. 1993. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to students entering the first year first entry undergraduate program in Smith Engineering. The award is renewable for three subsequent years provided a minimum 65% average is maintained in the first year and a 70% average is maintained in subsequent years in a full course load, and financial need remains evident. Applications are to be made to the Office of the University Registrar, Financial Aid, and Awards by February 15. Value: variable.
