Professor Leopold Havelock Thorburn Memorial Scholarship
Established in November 1973 in memory of Leopold Havelock Thorburn, BA 1944 (Queen's), MA 1964 (Cambridge) by his sister Miss Barbara E. Thorburn and last revised in November 2021. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students entering second, third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree with an academic plan offered by the Department of English Literature and Creative Writing. Selection will be made by the Awards Committee of the Faculty of Arts and Science.
