David T. Canvin Scholarship in Biology
Established in November 2001 by friends and colleagues in honour of David T. Canvin (BSA, MSc (Manitoba), PhD (Purdue)), on the occasion of his retirement. Dr. Canvin joined the Department of Biology in 1965 and served as Department Head from 1980-84 and Dean of Graduate Studies from 1984-89. Last revised in July 2022. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students entering second, third, or fourth year of a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree program with an academic plan offered by the Department of Biology.
