Arthur and James McLaren Memorial Entrance Award
Established in March 2001 by Thomas McLaren, B. Com. 1949, in March 2001, in memory of his father, Arthur McLaren, B. Sc. Civil Eng. 1911, and his brother, James McLaren, B. Sc. Mining Eng. 1939. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic excellence to student entering the first-year program in Smith Engineering.
