Commerce '48 Admission Award
Established in January 1999 and last revised in January 2021 by Commerce '48 in honour of their 50th Reunion in recognition of the financial assistance provided by the department of Veterans’ Affairs to class members who were veterans of World War II, and also in memory of those who might have become classmates had they not died in World War II. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic excellence to students entering first year of the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business. The award is renewable for 3 subsequent years provided a minimum GPA of 2.7
