Science '59 Admission Award
Established in October 1999 by the alumni of the Class of Science 1959 and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, academic excellence, proven leadership skills, and involvement in school or community activities to students entering the first-year program in Smith Engineering. The award is renewable for three subsequent years provided a satisfactory academic average is maintained each year, financial need remains evident, and involvement in school or community activities is sustained.
