Jeff and Carolyn Carney Entrance Award
Established in April 2008 by Jeff and Carolyn Carney and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic excellence to full-time students entering first year of the Commerce program in the Smith School of Business. The candidates will have completed their secondary education in a publicly funded high school in Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba. Preference will be given to students who work part-time/or volunteer. Preference will also be given to students with proven leadership qualities and involvement in high school or community activities.
