W. R. Thompson Prize in Psychology

Established by family, colleagues, former students, and friends of William Robert Thompson, Professor of Psychology at Queen's from 1966 to 1979, Head of Department from 1966 to 1972. Awarded to the student completing the fourth year of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) or Bachelor of Science (Honours) program with a major in Psychology who is judged by the Department of Psychology to have submitted the most outstanding honours thesis in PSYC 500. The names of all winners are engraved on a plaque which is retained in the Psychology Department; book prize.
