Associated Medical Services/Boyd Upper Award

Established by the Associated Medical Services Incorporated (AMS), in recognition of the longstanding contributions of Dr. Boyd Upper, Medicine 1953. Awarded on the basis of outstanding achievement in history of medicine research to undergraduate students in any medical year in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen's University, who are residents of Ontario, to attend medical conferences. Eligible students must have completed an independent scholarly research paper on the history of medicine and have had a paper accepted for presentation at a scholarly meeting.
