Ian and Carol Friendly Leadership Entrance Award
Established in April 2008 and revised in October 2015 by Carol and Ian Friendly, B.Com. 1983. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic excellence to students entering the first year in the Bachelor of Commerce program in the Smith School of Business. Preference will be granted in the following order of priority: (i) to students who have demonstrated student leadership experience in their high school and (ii) to students from the City of Ottawa. The award is renewable for 3 subsequent years provided a minimum GPA of 2.7 is maintained each year and financial need remains
