Garton Memorial Graduating Scholarship in Spanish
Established in October 1979 by Clare John Garton and Miriam Garton in memory of their daughter, Marilyn Eva Garton (BA (Hons) 1971, MA, BEd 1973). Last revised in August 2025. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to the student with the highest standing graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree program with an academic plan in Hispanic Studies or Spanish and Latin American Studies offered by the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.
