Mary Mewkill Memorial Scholarship in English
Established in 1951 by Miss Mary Mewkill of Poughkeepsie, New York, in grateful remembrance of her teachers and associates at Queen's University. Last revised in June 2022. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to the student with the highest academic standing in English literature courses covering the period from 1780 to 1830 offered by the Department of English Literature and Creative Writing. Selection will be made by the Awards Committee of the Faculty of Arts and Science.
