Edith Whyte Memorial Scholarship in Economics
Established in October 1982 by family, friends, and colleagues in memory of Edith M. Whyte (BA 1948) who at the time of her death in 1980 was the highest-ranking woman at the Bank of Canada. Last revised in July 2022. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to the student with the highest standing entering fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree program with an academic plan offered by the Department of Economics. Selection will be made by the Awards Committee of the Faculty of Arts and Science.
