Established in April 1982 by colleagues, friends, and former students in honour of Harry W. Hilborn, Professor of Spanish at Queen's from 1950 to 1970. Last revised in September 2025. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to an upper year student in an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Arts and Science with an academic plan in Spanish and Latin American Studies offered by the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures.s.
