皇太子明仁親王奨学金
皇太子明仁親王奨学金は、皇太子明仁親王殿下（現在の上皇陛下）のご成婚とハワイご訪問を記念して、 昭和35(1960)年、ハワイ在住の日系人やホノルル商工会議所、わが国経済界の協力により創設された。当奨学金は、日本とハワイの大学院生を互いに派遣する事業を通じて、わが国と米国との相互理解、友好親善関係を推進することを目的としている。
