米日カウンシル渡邉利三寄付奨学金
米日カウンシル渡邉利三寄付奨学金は、1学期から1年間にわたる米国への留学を希望する大学生・大学院生に給付される財政援助です。渡邉利三財団の渡邉利三会長が米日カウンシルに寄贈した1千万ドルの寛大な寄付金を資金源とし、財政援助なしには留学ができない学生に奨学金を給付します。また、帰国後もTOMODACHIイニシアチブや米日カウンシルが提供する様々なプログラム参加者との交流の機会が提供されます。奨学生はこのような交流の場に積極的に参加し、日米の関係強化に貢献をしながら世界で活躍していくことを志す次世代のリーダ ーへ成長していくことが期待されています。本プログラムは、渡邉財団の「渡邉利三国際奨学金」や、公益財団法人米日カウンシルージャパンによる日本全国の高校生を対象とする米国研修プログラム「TOMODACHI Toshizo Watanabe Leadership Program」とは異なります。
